Safer Space® is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Global Handwashing Day Awareness Event & Fundraiser organised by Germ’s Journey® and Knowlex, reinforcing its mission to promote the future of hand-hygiene.
The company’s involvement reflects a deep belief that those working in the hygiene and cleaning industry have not only a responsibility, but also a unique opportunity, to give back through charitable causes that improve health and wellbeing worldwide.
The event brings schools together for a fun and educational worldwide campaign promoting hand hygiene and children’s health. Funds raised will support the delivery of life-saving infection prevention resources to children in India, Kenya, and Pakistan. This includes hand-hygiene packs, books, posters, and videos.
Most infections are transmitted by touch, and while in the UK the focus must be on creating safer spaces themselves, handwashing remains the simplest way to introduce children to infection prevention. By engaging schools and young people, Safer Space® is helping to instil lifelong habits that can make a huge difference in communities.

The Global Handwashing Day 2025 event is set to engage schools across the globe in creative, hands-on activities designed to make infection prevention both fun and memorable. The first 50 schools to register their donations will receive special hand cleanser products, educational packs, and e-certificates to celebrate their participation
